Catching up on life

OK, its been too long since I updated! Life is going blazingly fast! (is that a word?). Tax season is here with a vengeance, so Mark is up early and home late...meaning we mostly pass in the dark, and reconnect on weekends :o)! So here is a tiny pictorial synopsis of life since Christmas.

Well, I started out by going down to Pasadena the day after the parade with Mom and Dad Carson to see all the floats. They were AMAZING! But it was very chilly, and crowded. I'll throw in a slide show of all my pics eventually. We had never done this particular adventure, so it was an experience.....

Lovely H3 is graduating in a few short months (sniff!!), so I snapped a few nice pics of her for her graduation slideshow....

OK, this is pretty cheesy, but finishing Music Man was so crazy that I literally didn't get any backstage candids during production week. If you go back several posts you'll see Ben and the girls in costume, though. So, it was a FANTASTIC show! It was so cute...all the little girls in their frilly dresses, and the boys all slicked. I was a head chaperone again for 5 of the 6 performances (4th-6th grade group....oy vey!!), so I was tired by the end, but it was worth it! All the kids did a fabulous job!

Now we are looking forward to......da dada daaaaahhhhh......

Yep, you guessed it.....we're off to see the wizard starting the beginning of March! So we are getting a much enjoyed rest until then. All 3 hooligans are doing this one again.

So....I should introduce the newest Hooligan rodents.....da dada da....drumroll please....?

Meet Rizza and Nim......our first rats! Kendra and Ben are having fun with their new pets. Both their hamsters died right before Christmas.

And last but not least, Ben got to be a weed in the church children's choir musical. It was sort of a gangster-ish, weedy character, and he definitely cut loose and had good time playing it up on stage! (Who?? Ben??...can't imagine!) Here he is in all his weed glory.
