Happy Mothers Day!!

My amazing (and shrinking) mother!
She's been working hard at losing wieght,
and is looking great! I love you Mom!

On Mothers Day we traditionally meet my sister and bro-in-law for lunch up at the mall in Palmdale to celebrate. We enjoyed our leisurely lunch (Texas Cattle Co.....yum!!), had fun reading our cards, and finished the day by lounging around at my sister's house.

Kendra having a little too much fun at Texas Cattle Co.
with her cousins. Notice the impish grin.....no doubt
hatching some evil Mothers Day plot.....

Ben loves Aunt Kathy's house!!!
It's Wi time!!!!!

Further evidence of hooligan ancestry..........

My dear mother, the former linguist & grammar nut, lover of all things semantic, obviously had a wandering mind during this morning's sermon. Pastor Scott is preaching through the book of Mark, and evidently got to the part where Christ sent the disciples out. In pairs. Hmmmm. She mentioned to us at lunch the intriguing mental image (maybe like one of the Fruit-of-the-Loom guys????) she had when he read that part. Well, as we were about the leave my sister's house, I noticed her inspired artwork.
