Good Good Friday

In honor of the beginning of spring, I paused this morning to note the difference between those who have a knack for gardening and those who don't. Ahem.

OK, now that it's clear who the horticulturally challenged person in the family is, I'll just say that I do enjoy pretty flowers, and as long as I let Cami tend to them I enjoy them for a lot longer. I just got these flowers (look below) at Costco cuz they were pretty, and I took the picture of the tree today....I love this time of year when all the trees are blooming!

Guess who was at Walmart this morning??

No self respecting hooligan mom would turn down the chance to get a picture of her darlings with "Giselle" and "Edward" (heh heh). I only had to resort to threatening one, and blackmailing another. Not too difficult all things considered. After all, it's my sworn duty to thoroughly embarass my adolescent children at least 3x a week. (They love the "Enchanted" movie, and we just bought it 2 days ago, so you'd think they'd just *leap* at the chance to mug for the camera with the famous characters, right??) OH OH......you also must note "Saint Kendra the Divine" standing front and center with the miraculous halo above her head! Its like having our own "tortilla-with-the-virgin-mary". Very cool.

Ok, the kids HAD to do eggs (I keep telling them its OK to not do eggs if you don't want to.....hint hint......). As long as THEY clean up the mess, I'm fine with it.
