Well, we'll see how long I can keep this up - ha! I've pondered for awhile on the benefits of at least keeping some sort of running commentary on life. For posterity's sake if nothing else. Life seems to gallop on, kids get older by the minute, wrinkles appear overnight, and I, like many others tend to not count all the blessings I should. In honor, then, of the upcoming holiday, I'll duly note that I'm thankful for:
1. A God who knows my sin, yet saved me anyway.
2. A husband who hugs and kisses me at least twice a day (coming and going), in spite of a less than perfect house or a less than perfect me.
3. 3 flawed children who are none the less priceless gifts of God
4. Family, friends, and a church that provide Godly wisdom and support
5. Everything else that I can't recall because it's late and I need to go to bed
For the record, hooligan central has 3 hooligans, Kendra (dd age 16, fun loving but uber-logical), Cami (age 14, my creative, adventurous, slightly moody one), and Benjamin (ds age 11, ultra musical, passionate, intense, explosive, curious.....and totally exhausting!!). Also sharing the premises are 4 ROUS's (rodents of usual size), namely 2 guinea pigs - Crega & Padme - and 2 hamsters - Alexander and Mysti.
And so it begins.....
