We had a wonderful time at the church campout. It wasn't especially well attended, but a smallish group of us die-hard campers went up by Santa Barbara for the weekend. The campground was a bit inland from SB, and HOT! We arrived Fri. afternoon, and by that night we all had pretty much decided to go to the beach the next day (Sat).
BEACH DAY
This was a good decision! It was MUCH cooler at the beach, and everyone had a great time in the water. I was happy to lounge, as I didn't bring my suit, and the water was a bit cold for my taste. It was nice to wade and watch. A good time was had by all.
