After waking up this morning wishing it had all been a bad dream, I carefully righted the piano and gave it a whirl. Halleluia!! it worked!! gravity and hair dryers to the rescue! It sounds perfect, and we all collectively cheered (Yay God!!!) and heaved huge sighs of relief. Ben most of all :o). Kudos to Yamaha for building a digital piano that can be ressurrected......at least once. Hopefully we won't tempt fate again. In case anyone is curious, it is a p70, bottom of the line Yamaha digital, with only 10 different voices, but GREAT sound and feel.
And so we traipsed off to start the girl's 10 wks of swimming with significantly lighter spirits. Ben did lap swimming while the girls worked out with the APS group, swimming a total of 16 laps for a good workout. He's a bit slap-happy today, now that a $500 debt is no longer hanging over his head (as he put it...."I am SOOOOOOOOOO LUCKY mom!!!!!!!!"........I told him luck had nothing to do with it, it was ALL GOD'S GRACE!!) Here he is at the pool, one relieved boy!
