Piggies, Bunnies, ToDo's, $traffic tickets$

That about sums up the day. Lets see....

PIGGIES!....Guinea that is

I had fun taking some piggie-eye views of them. I stuck the camera down in the cage to get them on eye level. The hooligan children spoil these creatures to death. They'd have their own hot tub if they suspected guinea pigs liked them. Padme at the top is in her favorite spot - square in the middle of the pile of hay! Crega's Red Eyes Of Death are shining brightly down below (ha).

BUNNIES!....the imaginary kind.
We are loving this book! Its been on the shelf since before the kids were born, I'm sure, but strangely enough I never bothered to pick it up. Being rather a hopeless bibliophile, I'm sure that would surprise many (that there is a book in my house that I haven't read), but it does happen on occasion. It was one I "planned" to read "sometime". Whatever the case, it is a fantastic story, and very well written. It's about bunnies who go on a quest of sorts to find a new place to live. Thats the ultra condensed version, anyway. Ben was not happy when we began reading the "bunny book". What self respecting boy wants to read a book about bunnies? However, as I knew would happen, he's right in there with the rest of them wrestling me to the couch trying to make me read longer! And you probably think I'm joking about the wrestling. This IS Hooligan central you know. Anyway, this is a great long juicy book.....we love those kind!

And last but not least.......To Do lists
I found this cute little 1-week white-board thingie at Office Max, and couldn't resist finding a good use for it. Much to the chagrin of my darling children, it now has all their chores happily color coded on it (idiot proof you know). Unfortunately for me, MINE are also color coded on there too (you guessed it....I'm the idiot!), so no more claiming ignorance for anybody. Being somewhat domestically challenged, I'm trying to go for basics.

OK, here was today's list:
Ben is colored red, and I'm trying to encourage bathing more often, so I put that on his list for T and TH (he'd be good for once a month if we'd let him). He was a little miffed when I sent him off tonight to take his bath, as he was in the middle of a good computer game, and he declared he would "hurry". Hmmm. I made sure to remind him that hurry was fine a long as it included soap AND shampoo. You'll notice, I'm sure that there are a few unchecked places, but those actually got done, yay! You'll also notice what a good delegator I am....MY color is brown. Unfortunately the task also falls on me to be the checker, slavemaster, and helper (not to mention schoolteacher and taxidriver), lest anyone think that all I did today was mop. The Lord is working on this area of my life, so a cool whiteboard thingie doesn't hurt.

Oh, and that last part of the blog title with the $ things......I had to go pay it at the courthouse today because they never sent it to me in the mail. Lets just say that I really, REALLY never wish to go there *ever* *again*. Goodnight.
